CrossPoint Church - all kinds of people discovering and following Jesus

OUR STORY

In the spring of 2004 we began... Steve and Denise Redden and a staff launch team moved to Temecula from North County San Diego.  Rather quickly a core group of people formed and began meeting in small groups during the summer.  The word about this new church began to spread.  Since the fall of 2004 we have been meeting in various portable locations.  In January of 2009, we signed the lease agreement and moved into our own church home.

WHAT TO EXPECT...

People just like you, all on that journey of discovering and following Jesus - and having a great time!!

It's our deepest desire that you encounter God as we worship Jesus and experience creative compelling truth from the Bible.

You'll probably notice that there are kids everywhere!  KIDZLIFE is our children's ministry (Birth-5th grade).  Your children will be cared for in a safe, fun environment so that at an early age they begin to follow Jesus and experience the love of our great God.

Middle School and High School students have various programs and events on Sundays and throughout the week. The student ministry pages will give you all the important info.

We believe that it's what happens during the week AFTER we leave the weekend service that truly matters.  That's why Small Groups are the anchor, the hub of everything we do here at CrossPoint Church.  We meet together in homes to get to know each other and to start putting truth into action in our everyday lives.

We also believe in FUN!!  Check out our calendar and activity pages for the different events and activities.

All kinds of people are discovering the excitement and joy of serving and making a difference in people's lives.  That happens in the various ministries of the church, serving people in our city, and globally as we help plant new churches all over the world - currently in Eastern Africa.

WHAT DOES A WEEKEND SERVICE LOOK LIKE?
Pre-school age kids and below go directly to their classes - just follow the road signs posted all over the campus to find the right room.  All other children come to the auditorium with their family.

  • High energy worship - usually two or three songs
  • Teaching - kids are dismissed to their various classes
  • Worship - Offering - Communion - We give you the opportunity to respond to God in a variety of ways as we close out our service.  Communion is simply the way we keep the focus on Jesus.  The money we give is primarily an act of worship and thanks to God.  It's also the way the people of CrossPoint Church support the ongoing ministry here.
  • After Service - Grab a cold or hot drink and reconnect with your friends and even begin to make some new ones.
